Barbara Macnish
Chairman
Barbara has been a Board member since 2001 and Chairman since late 2007. She has an MBA and Graduate Diploma in Business with experience in corporate planning and governance, risk management/procurement, public relations and human resources. Employed in an executive position in government she has worked for a number of organisations including the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection, the Government Employees Superannuation Board and the Department of Social Security. Barbara is also a member of the Western Australian Sports Centre Trust Board, the Perth Area Consultative Committee and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Graham O’Neill
Deputy Chairman and Treasurer
Graham has been a member of the board since 2004, Deputy Chairman since 2007 and more recently his responsibilities have been expanded to incorporate the role of Treasurer. Graham is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Perrine Group, a multi faceted property development company and previously held the position of General Manager of Risk at Home Building Society. Graham has 27 years experience in banking and finance and has an MBA and Bachelor of Business, Accounting and Finance. He is a Fellow member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Senior Associate of CPA Australia.

Susan Male
Board Member
Susan is currently the General Manager of Strategy at HBF and was previously General Manager – Brand at Home Building Society. Susan brings her wealth of experience in strategy and marketing to the CHILD Australia board as well as her background in health having worked as an Occupational Therapist in Australia and the USA. Susan has completed an MBA at Bond University and is also a member of the Rocky Bay Board. She has three children and is a keen runner. Susan has been a board member since 2006.

Jo Robins
Board Member
Jo is the Manager of Family Support Services at the Red Cross. She has qualifications in Early Childhood Nursing and Development and also has a Diploma in Community Services and Development in Management and Training. She has more than 30 years experience in the area of early childhood development and was an Inclusion Support Facilitator with CHILD Australia from 1996 to 2006. Jo has a number of roles within Red Cross, including the selection, training and supervision of volunteers and her role as Child Safe Contact Officer for Red Cross WA. Jo has a keen interest in Red Cross emergency services and is an active Emergency Services volunteer. Her interest in, and advocacy for, children prompted her to take up the opportunity to be a Board member with CHILD Australia in 2007.

Raeleen McAllister
Board Member
Raeleen has been employed by the Shire of Mundaring for the past 4 ½ years, coordinating the Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre, a 67 community based long day care and parenting centre. It is from this position that Raeleen brings her experience to the CHILD Australia Board, having been a member since 2007. Raeleen has a Diploma of Children’s Services 0-5 years and qualifications in the Protective Behaviours Program; The Cancer Council – PGR Education and is an accredited Makaton Presenter (WA). Raeleen is currently Vice Chair of the Carewest Board and is involved in a number of community projects, including volunteer work for the Salvation Army Emergency Services.

Sarah Fordham
Board Member
Sarah graduated from The University of Western Australia with an Executive Masters of Business and has over 15 years experience in the management of cross-sector partnerships and marketing. In March 2008 Sarah joined Alcoa as National Partnerships Manager where she is responsible for the creation and management of a portfolio of strategic partnerships that protect Alcoa's licence to operate in the community and deliver measurable benefits to the business. Prior to joining Alcoa, Sarah worked in the not-for-profit industry as the WA/SA State Manager for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and more recently at the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research as Corporate and Community Relationship Manager.
In recent years, Sarah has been nominated for both the Telstra “Business Women of the Year” Awards and the WA Business News “40 Under 40” Awards.

Jason Hughes
Board Member
Jason is a partner of international accounting firm KPMG and an Executive Director of KPMG Corporate Finance (Aust) Pty Ltd. Jason has over 14 years advisory experience providing specialist corporate finance advice, focussing on valuation assignments, completing both private valuations and public expert reports to corporations operating in a wide range of industries. Jason previously had over 8 years experience in providing corporate recovery and assurance and advisory services in both Perth and Melbourne. Jason has two school age children.

Nick Cooper
Board Member
Nick was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1996. Nick has been with Clayton Utz since 2004 and is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution department where his focus is major commercial disputes and regulatory proceedings. In addition to his legal expertise, Nick brings to the board specialist skills in management, strategic planning and conflict resolution.
