Forum: Practical Play Based Ideas – Inside and Out

Through play children develop the skills necessary to succeed now and into the future. As educators our role is to not only provide a range of play based learning experiences but to also advocate for a child’s right to play. Throughout this session our experienced facilitator’s will share real world examples of positive play based learning opportunities and participants will have an opportunity to raise questions and share their experiences with others.
Reflections and provocations will enhance the learning with participants being asked to consider how their practices, environments and service culture impact upon children’s play. An opportunity to take a look at the what, how, when and why of play.
