Day 1: Thursday 20th April 2023
Day 2: Thursday 11th May 2023 (2 day event)
As you know and appreciate, Educational Leaders are a pivotal part of our services, but there are many myths within the sector as to what is exactly required of the role.
This series of forums focuses attention on the development of Educational Leaders in their endeavour to motivate, lead and inspire educators in pedagogical practice. If you are new to the role of Educational Leader or trying to create a better understanding of what your role entails this series is for you.
Many Educational Leaders struggle within the sector as to exactly what responsibilities the role has and miss the importance of a collegial approach. By its own definition, the role is about Leading Education, but the question remains how?
We’ve tailored the information so that it’s suitable for Educational Leaders who are new to the position as well as those more experienced in the role; so, everyone will be able to walk away with a clearer understanding of what it takes to be successful in the role!
If you have team members looking to take the next step in their career, the course is suitable for Senior Educators, Room Leaders, 2ICs and beyond.
We’ve packed a lot into 2 full days (including catering!) to be able to cover everything from understanding the NQF and preparing for assessments and ratings, to being an effective educational leader or including families in curriculums. Links to NQS: QA1 and QA7
