Suitable for: Early Education and Care Sector, All Early Childhood Practitioners
This morning tour by bus is an opportunity to reflect upon the many forms of “excellence” within the context of the Australian National Quality Framework, and the road travelled by three services focusing on the theme of “Building Positive Relationships”.
Using the inspiration gained from visiting these services, participants can use their observations to provide further stimulus for change on how services approach to practice and the continued journey towards excellence.
This year’s tour includes a “Building Positive Relationships” Masterclass for participants to investigate the theories behind relationship building, and how they reflect educators’ philosophies around how children learn and develop a sense of security. It provides ideas to consider while interacting with children, setting up your environment, and modelling positive educator-to-child interactions.
Departing Child Australia Palmerston Service at 10:00 AM sharp, we will visit Farrar Early Learning Centre, Nightcliff Community Early Learning Centre and Bagot Outside School Hours Care. The tour includes a light lunch (included in the ticket price) and the Building Positive Relationships Masterclass.
Due to limited seating, any cancellations less than 2 business days before the bus tour are not refundable, however, you may transfer your registration to a suitable colleague for no additional cost.
