The Role of the Educational Leader in Leading Reflective Practice

Educational leaders have an important role to play and they will be further supported in their role due to changes in the NQS that begin on 1 February 2018. One of the key aspects of the role is to lead reflective practice within the service. In order to do this, educational leaders, need to develop strong relationships with their team and work as a role model mentor and critical friend.
This session will:
- Explore all aspects of reflective practice including self-reflection, reflecting on teaching and learning and critical reflection that leads to quality improvement.
- Provide opportunities for educational leaders to learn more and share ideas and suggestions relating to mentoring colleagues.
