When Educators Play
Parents, early childhood educators and the community are concerned with the decline of play based learning in education settings.
As a sector we represent the culture of play based learning, however the quality of learning interactions with children are often lost in the day to day approach of educators. This session is designed to re-invigorate educator approaches and rediscover the benefits of co-constructing learning with children to create a motivated, responsive and interested staff team.
Learning Outcomes:
- How play based learning wins out
- Theories and perspectives for practice
- Benefits of educator play
- Implementing practice change
