Subscription Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to, and govern, your support subscription (“Subscription”) to Child Australia (“CA”) for professional development and support. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply to your Subscription. By purchasing a Subscription with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Support Subscriptions’ which comprise the following types of products/services provided by CA:  Personal consultancy in person or by virtual means; In-Service Workshops; Online learning centre enrolments to self-paced courses plus any additional products added to a plan as requested by you.

If you have selected a standalone product outside of subscriptions you are bound by that products Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use.

Subscription Terms and Conditions

A Subscription provides you with access to CA professional development and support activities as outlined on our site and confirmed with your purchase through our online store.

Your Subscription will commence immediately on receipt by us of completed subscription details, including payment details. Confirmation of acceptance will be provided to you via your nominated email address.

You must have a valid payment plan and payment method approved by CA to continue with your subscription.

You are responsible for the initiating the use of, and booking of activities and provision of a suitable venue for In-Service Workshops. CA will make initial contact with you once your subscription details have been confirmed to develop a delivery schedule for personal consultancy and in-service workshops if applicable under the subscription.

In order for an eligible subscriber to be initiate and book activities within the subscription all payments due prior to the must be fully paid, and CA will in its discretion reserve the right to delay the delivery of activities until the funds received under the subscription are greater than the published public rate for that activity within our website online store. You will be consulted should this be the case.

We may change our Subscription Terms and Conditions from time to time.  You can find the latest Terms and Conditions via our online store and should check them from time to time to ensure you are aware of the most current Terms and Conditions.

CA reserves the right to modify the content, inclusions, type and availability of any Subscription at any time. In the event your subscription package changes, you will be given notification prior to when you would need to make a decision to cancel your Subscription and not be affected. If you do not notify us that you wish to cancel your Subscription, then your package will change automatically from your next billing cycle.

If any or all of our subscription activities are temporarily unavailable, you will not automatically be entitled to receive a refund. We reserve the right to issues refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund or credit in the future.

For avoidance of doubt if you are unable to access our services due to problems not related to our service or CA then you are not eligible for a refund or credit of any nature.

Pricing, Payment and Taxes

All pricing for Subscriptions include GST unless otherwise specified. Subscribers acknowledge that CA may amend Subscription pricing from time to time and will provide prior notice to you. Any new pricing will take effect from your next billing date. You may cancel your Subscription due to the price change by following the steps set out below.

All payments must be by credit card, direct debit or any other method as agreed to by CA. Subscriptions will be charged for periods of (1) week at a time and must be paid in advance of any activities delivered under that subscription. CA accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Subscribers are responsible for ensuring their credit card details and bank account details are correct. Changes to credit card or bank account details can be made by contacting our support team on 08 9270 6666 or emailing support@childaustralia.org.au

Direct debit payments are bound by the Direct Debit Request Service Agreement (if applicable) as provided.

If a Subscription payment fails, we will re-attempt payment several times before contacting you to rectify. In such circumstances your Subscription will continue for a grace period of 14 days after which time we may cancel your Subscription. If you are under the age of 18 you require consent from the credit card holder to authorise charges to be made.

Suspension and Redirection

You may apply to suspend your Subscription can be suspended for a maximum of 90 days in a single suspension with the approval of CA. Any subscription fees collected will remain in your account to put towards future activities under the subscription once the subscription is reactivated.CA will recommence your subscription and payment schedule after the agreed suspension time. Your subscription will then have a renewed end date in line with the suspension time approved.  For suspensions please contact our support team on 08 9270 6666 or emailing support@childaustralia.org.au

Redirections and suspension may take up to 5 working days to process.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Subscription at any time by giving CA 28 Days notice and payment of 4 weekly instalments, forfeiting any balance of activities not yet delivered under the subscription.

If you cancel your subscription before the end of the initial 12 month subscription period, the cancellation will become effective only once all payments due up to the notice period are received by CA.

CA reserves the right to suspend or cancel a Subscription without liability immediately: (a) if you breach of these Terms and Conditions; (b) if we no longer deliver to your area; or (c) for any other reasons subject to 5 days prior notice.

Cancellation of your subscription may take up to 5 business days to be processed. This time will not affect the required cancelation notice.

Privacy

CA collects your personal information and may disclose the information to any other persons/ entities who assist with providing this subscription service. CA may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services. We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Disclaimers

You agree that any errors made in entering your contact information and order details are your responsibility and CA is not liable for any consequences that may arise as a result of such errors or incorrect information, including but not limited to sending the subscription confirmation to the email address as notified by you.

To the extent permitted by law, CA is not liable to you for any loss or damage incurred by you in connection with your Subscription, whether direct, consequential, special, indirect or other loss or damage and CA’s maximum liability to you is limited to the value of the subscription fees paid since activation of that subscription.

Other

We reserve the right to reject any Subscription order or purchase at any time.

CA may offer Subscription promotions which are subject to terms and conditions in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions prevail over any inconsistencies with any promotional or trial terms and conditions.
